Vision is the most important of all the five senses – and the one we rely on most heavily at work. So correct workplace lighting is a matter of particular importance. As numerous scientific studies have shown, close links exist between the quality of lighting on the one hand and productivity, motivation and well-being on the other.
In the modern working world, however, we need more than just the right amount of light for workplace tasks. We need a succession of stimulating and relaxing situations throughout the day. So creating different lighting scenes in rooms with different functions (workrooms, meeting rooms, recreation/regeneration zones) helps boost motivation and promote a sense of well-being.
